It’s Pineapple Festival time again in Yeppoon this weekend. There’ll be fireworks on the beachfront Friday night, Masquerade Ball Saturday night & then the Street Fiesta & Parade Sunday.
Yeppoon and Central Queensland celebrates the Yeppoon Lions’ Tropical Pinefest in Yeppoon on Sunday, 13th October 2013.
This is preceded by the Pinefest Ambassador Gala Dinner at the Capricorn Resort on Saturday, 12th October. The Tropical Pinefest Sunday is packed with traditional spectator events and stalls and includes a spectacular street parade.
The theme for this year’s Pinefest is “Heroes and Villains – Who’s behind the mask?”. [click here]

SERVING OUR LOCAL COMMUNITY
The Yeppoon Lions Club is committed to raising funds for distribution to local charities and institutions in need, including disadvantaged people with disabilities and special needs. They also raise funds for National charities, Medical Research Foundations approved by Lions Australia and Natural Disasters.
The Club also provides community based activities such as The Yeppoon Lions Pine Fest and associated Ambassador Quest and The Lions Youth of the Year Quest, which helps develop the social skills and confidence of our local youth. The Club assists with the Great Australia Day Beach Party and runs monthly BBQ stalls at the Fig Tree Creek Markets on the 1st Sunday of each month.
